Starting a new job can be a challenging time for both your new employee and you. To help assist everyone through this period CHOOSE Employment offer ongoing support to you and your new employee, colleagues and supervisors.

We help set up the workplace to support your employee’s needs, arrange modifications and access to funding.

Our experienced consultants will negotiate what level of support required by you and your new employee and structure the support service around those needs. Support can range from a regular phone call to you to discuss the new employee’s progress, right through to on-the-job mentoring and training for your new employee and your existing staff.

CHOOSE Employment manages the Individual Placement Support for Competitive Employment Project, a government funded project that helps people with mental illness enter and remain in employment.

CHOOSE Employment is also listed on the State Government’s Fixed Term Register , to establish employment opportunities for people with disabilities on behalf of the State Service.
